DALLAS, TEXAS – The Preston Trail Golf Club team of Cameron Doan, head golf professional and Brian Ricketts, assistant golf professional captured the 2010 Cleveland Golf / Srixon Pro-Assistant Championship with rounds of 64-67 for a 36-hole total of 131, 13-under par. Doan and Ricketts edged out the team from Green Tree Country Club of Brian McKinley, head golf professional and Stuart Hendley, teaching professional by one shot finishing with a 36-hole total of 132, 12-under par. Doan and Ricketts took home the first place team prize money of $2,100.00 from the $17,700.00 purse. Preston Trail Golf Club’s Cameron Doan has paired with an assistant golf professional to win this Championship eight out of the last nine years.
A total of 87 teams of head golf professionals teamed with their assistant golf professionals for the 36-hole four-ball stroke play event. The 2010 Cleveland Golf / Srixon Pro-Assistant Championship presented by American Express, Cutter & Buck, TCG Advisors and Yamaha Golf Cars was conducted at Brookhaven Country Club (Masters Course) in Dallas, Texas.
