Dallas, Texas – The 2010 Texas Women’s Open at Eastern Hills Country Club is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 24 at Eastern Hills Country Club in Garland, Texas. The 2010 Texas Women’s Open at Eastern Hills Country Club Pro-Am will feature top players in this year’s field and is set for Tuesday, June 22.

Entry fees for the event are as followed: Amateurs - $175.00, LPGA Members and PGA Members and Apprentices - $225.00, Non-affiliate professionals/Futures Tour players - $275.00.

The entry deadline for exempt contestants will be Friday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. The entry deadline for all contestants will be Friday, June 18 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. All entries must be received by the Northern Texas PGA via mail, facsimile, overnight carrier, or in person by this time. Online entries will also be accepted at www.ntpga.com.

The 36-hole stroke play event with no cut will be limited to the first 144 professional and amateur contestants. The professional field will be competing for an estimated purse of $20,000.00.

The field will include the following exempt players if they choose to participate: Past champions; the top 15 professionals and ties from the 2009 Texas Women’s Open; and the top 10 amateurs and ties from the 2009 Texas Women’s Open.
