The NTPGA Welcomes Tyler Davidson
The Northern Texas PGA is pleased to announce that Tyler Davidson has been hired as Coordinator of All American Tour Operations. Tyler is from Plano, Texas and attended Sam Houston State University where he received a bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in PGA Golf Management.
Tyler has gained extensive experience in the golf industry through the numerous internships he has completed. In fact, his first internship was with the Northern Texas PGA where he served as an All American Tour intern during the summer of 2013. In 2014, he interned with the Southern Texas PGA where he ran their Drive, Chip & Putt events, while also working closely with the Section and Junior Tour departments.
During the summer of 2015, Tyler worked as an intern for the PGA Junior Series, where he traveled all over the country conducting nationally ranked events for the nation’s most talented junior golfers.
He also gained valuable experience serving as a caddie for five seasons at the prestigious Whispering Pines Golf Club.
Tyler will be the 11th former NTPGA intern on the NTPGA’s staff of 15. His first day as a member of the team was Monday, May 16. He will be elected to PGA Membership in January making him one of four PGA Members on staff.
