Thank you for your interest in interning with the Northern Texas PGA.
Our mission is to serve the PGA Members and grow the game of golf.
The NTPGA conducts tournaments and programs year-round with our internships split between spring, summer and fall terms. Internship postings are made available for applications only through our Teamwork Online Portal.
Spring Internship Opportunities:
Early-September
Summer Internship Opportunities:
Mid-December
Fall Internship Opportunities:
Early-June
>> Junior Tour Operations: The NTPGA Junior Tour is among the largest of its kind in the country. As part of the Junior Tour team, you will set up, operate and manage 9- and 18-hole tournaments for junior golfers ages 7 to 18. This team is always on the go and passionate about making our tournaments memorable for thousands across North Texas.
>> All American Tour Operations: The All American Tour is the highest level of junior golf tournament offered by the NTPGA. This tour is built bigger, offering nationally ranked 36-hole events for advanced players and a variety of exemptions. All American Tour interns will get a deeper dive into the competition side of golf.
>> Championship Operations: The Championships Team conducts professional events for the individuals who are at the center of the NTPGA — our PGA Members. This team is where you will help conduct an array of exciting events and learn the ins and outs of what it takes to run a successful, high-level championship like the Texas State Open, Texas Women’s Open, PGA Tour Qualifiers, Playing Ability Tests and more.
**Please note that All American Tour Operations and Championship Operations is only available in the summer months**
This is where it all begins. Our Tournament Administration interns help to create and prepare all materials for over 400 junior tournaments annually — these individuals play an essential role in providing a successful operation and a high level of service to our junior golfers and their families.
This team crafts the messages, look and feel of everything we do at the NTPGA. The Communications & Media interns help tell our story and those of our PGA Professionals and, in doing so, bring more people to the game of golf.
Of the 21 current full-time
staff members,
17
are former interns of the NTPGA.
The internship program is opening the door to a career with the Northern Texas PGA and the golf industry.

The Northern Texas PGA is committed to helping PGA Golf Management students grow and learn in the golf business. While many will seek employment at a more traditional green-grass facility, we would encourage you to consider an internship with the Northern Texas PGA.
We believe that an internship, whether three months or seven, with the Northern Texas PGA will make you a more well-rounded golf professional and a more competitive candidate when seeking employment. You will learn the ins and outs of golf administration, tournament operations and customer service all the while meeting and working with some of the very best PGA professionals in the country. If you are interested in applying, please email, Casey Rayburn, for more details.
